Partner\nFundacja ECD together with RoboCamp, an associated partner in the\nproject, organized the event. It\ntook place at Gda\u0144sk Science and Technology Park. The target\naudience was school principals and teachers from different schools.\nSome of the teachers already teach STEAM during classes or\nextra-curricular activities, while others had little prior\nexperience. In the\nfirst part, coordinator from Fundacja ECD Katarzyna Gliniecka\npresented the project\u2019s background, goals, structure, partner\nresponsibilities, main activities and outcomes. She showed all four\nmodules and provided information, where and how they can be accessed.\nInsights from\nthe research were presented. They included statistical data about\npupils\u2019 attitude and skills towards STEAM and feedback from the\nfocus group discussions. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/71146584_2560481280677243_5026640156266856448_o.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/71146584_2560481280677243_5026640156266856448_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-322\" width=\"288\" height=\"216\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/71146584_2560481280677243_5026640156266856448_o.jpg 960w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/71146584_2560481280677243_5026640156266856448_o-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/71146584_2560481280677243_5026640156266856448_o-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 288px) 100vw, 288px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nsecond part of the event was organized in the form of a robotics\nworkshop, where participants could try out the intellectual\ncontribution created by Fundacja ECD &#8211; The Art of Making module. It\nteaches how to build and program robots using LEGO Education\nMindstorms EV3 robot kits to perform specific tasks, focused mainly\non art. During the workshop, participants built and programmed the\nspirograph from various sets of LEGO bricks, while having fun and\nasking lots of questions. The guests were very interested in the\nresults of the project and admired the enormity of work and lesson\nmaterials produced. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nculmination of the event was a lottery for participants where they\ncould win a Lego set for their school. This prize was established by\nevent organizers. A teacher from a school in Gdansk was the lucky\none. This has given a chance to get to know teachers in person and\ndiscuss the use of the project\u2019s results in their schools.  \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Main\noutcomes of the event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\n\tthe\n\tevent was visited by more than 30 participants; \n\t\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tproject\u2018s\n\tresults were disseminated to teachers and school representatives on\n\ta personal level;\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tteachers\n\tobtained information from module developers about the use of the\n\ttraining tool in classroom;\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tattention\n\tof the public was drawn to technological education in schools and\n\tinnovative STEM tools. \n\t\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Dissemination\nof the event was organized by inviting teachers.
