Since 2013, the company has been a major provider of\nnon-formal technical and engineering education for kids in Lithuania.\nThe topics include 3D printing, robotics, Lego, virtual reality and\nmicroBits, among others. Its activities are directed toward three\ngroups of clients: non-formal education of children; methodology\ntraining for teachers of information technology, science and\ntechnology as well as non-formal sector teachers (volunteers,\nlibrarians, retired engineers); sales of tools and equipment for\ntechnology training, for educational institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nIt\nprovides non-formal STEAM training for various age-groups of clients.\nThese are kids (starting at 5 years of age), teenagers and young\npeople. The school hosts a wide range of activities. Most activities\ntarget children and youth, but there are also programmes for adults\nand in-company training, and even technology training for unemployed\npeople throughout Lithuania. Students discover how to use the newest\nbreakthrough technologies. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\n\tKTU\n\tin\u017einerijos lic\u0117jus (KTU Lyceum), Lithuania\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ktu-licejus.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ktu-licejus.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-71\" width=\"247\" height=\"230\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ktu-licejus.jpg 800w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ktu-licejus-300x279.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ktu-licejus-768x713.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 247px) 100vw, 247px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\nKTU\nLyceum of Engineering is the first school of this type in Lithuania.\nIt specialises in engineering. The school provides primary and\nsecondary education as well as engineering education. Students\nusually have particular educational needs because of their technical\ncreativity and remarkable abilities in science. Engineering is an\ninterdisciplinary subject uniting several educational areas.\nStudents&#8217; competencies are consistently developed throughout all\neducational levels in the school. The following engineering areas are\nimplemented in the school curriculum: mechanical, energetic,\nmaterials, chemical, biological, design, civil, computer and\naudiovisual media as well as technology engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\n\tR\u012bgas\n\tValsts 2. \u0122imn\u0101zija (Riga State Gymnasium No 2), Latvia\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ryga.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ryga.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73\" width=\"245\" height=\"162\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ryga.jpg 960w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ryga-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ryga-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 245px) 100vw, 245px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\nRiga\nState Gymnasium No 2 is a state school with 800 students and 80\nteachers located in the centre<br>\nof Riga, in Latvia. There are\nstudents aged 12-19. Students focus on programmes of Economics,\nNature Sciences, Humanitarian Sciences and Maths. The school has\ninterest groups of Robotics and Engineering. The students of these\ninterest groups participate in annual competitions in Latvia and\nEstonia.For introduction of lego-robotics the school has received\nfinancial support from Riga City council. Project goal is to create and test\ntools which stimulate the introduction of technology in the primary\nand secondary school system. DevLab\u2019s role is to create 12 lessons\nbased on programming and creation, making use of the micro:bit\nplatform. The lessons are currently under development, and will be\ntested on the school De Haren in \u2019s-Hertogenbosch. In parallel to\nthat we have invited schools to participate in a giant \u2018maker\u2019\nproject, to engage them into programming in combination with making.\n23 schools are participating and currently preparing 975 micro:bit\nbased maker projects in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\n\tFundacja\n\tEdukacyjne Centrum Doskonalenia&nbsp;(ECD),\n\tPoland\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ecd.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ecd.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-75\" width=\"239\" height=\"134\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe\nECD Foundation is a non-profit for profit organization. At the\nPomeranian ICT Cluster, it is dedicated to support employers in\nproviding qualified personnel for the ICT industry. For seven years,\nthe Foundation, as the first, such organization in Pomerania,\nprovides various development opportunities for various groups of\nrecipients. The Foundation&#8217;s mission is &#8220;Ensuring the\navailability of qualified\nhuman resources&#8221;.<br>\nThe\nFoundation strives to fulfill its mission by acting for four target\ngroups:<br>\n&#8211;\nstudents<br>\n&#8211;\nstudents<br>\n&#8211;\npotential ICT employees<br>\n&#8211;\nemployees of ICT companies<br>\nThe\naim of the ECD Foundation&#8217;s activities is building a knowledge-based\nsociety and innovation, developing a network of cooperation and\npartnership of entrepreneurs and other entities with business\nenvironment institutions, educational institutions and public\nadministration entities, raising the level of ICT knowledge, raising\nthe level of qualifications on the labor market, and stimulating\nentrepreneurship and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\n\tSignum\n\tde Haren, the Netherlands\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/haren.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/haren.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-76\" width=\"267\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/haren.jpg 960w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/haren-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inventor.gaminu.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/haren-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe\nPrimary school BBS Haren &#8211; Donk &#8211; Reit wants to give room to the\nDevelopment of Children. Development (learning) takes place from 0-13\nyears and will place both inside and outside the Child Center. The\nworld of the very young children is small and as children get older\nthey develop and expand the world themselves. This is visible in the\nbuilding.<br>\nPlaying\nand learning takes place in the community.\nChildren stay in groups, taking into account the individual needs and\nindividual possibilities of each child. Children learn from and with\neach other. We Stimulate working together. Living en learning\ntogether starts with playing together and learning together.
